12 Backyard BBQ Recipes for the Weekend!


Hi Reader!

Grilling season is starting up again and I couldn't be happier! We're brushing off the grill this weekend and pulling out some of our "go to" recipes. I have you covered with main dishes, as well as sides.

Below are some of my favorite 1) chicken entrées, 2) seafood & vegetarian entrées and 3) side dish ideas. Happy grilling!

⭐ MUST-MAKE RECIPE! ⭐

I'm putting this Mediterranean Cucumber Salad at the top because I didn't want you to miss it! If you're looking for a side dish to bring to a backyard BBQ this weekend, this is a fantastic (and easy) option.

CHICKEN, BEEF & PORK MAIN DISHES

  1. Grilled Chicken Drumsticks - Succulent & flavorful with an amazing glaze!
  2. Grilled Tri-Tip with Molasses Chili Marinade - I'm not going to claim this one is "light", but it is AMAZING and a long-time reader favorite.
  3. Caprese Chicken Foil Packets - Make it on the grill, campfire or in the oven.
  4. Grilled Sliders with Hot Sauce Slaw - We love a mini burger!
  5. Grilled Greek Pork Chops - Perfect with rice and a Greek salad.

SEAFOOD & VEGETARIAN MAIN DISHES

  1. Easy Grilled Salmon in Foil - Great for feeding a group.
  2. Grilled Eggplant Parmesan with Zucchini - 20-minute recipe!
  3. Greek Grilled Shrimp Kabobs - Serve it with a roasted red pepper feta sauce (recipe provided).

SIDE DISHES

  1. Mexican Slaw with Mango - FANTASTIC as a side or on grilled fish or shrimp tacos.
  2. Skinny Red Potato Salad - No mayo in sight. Instead it's dressed with a zesty vinaigrette.
  3. Three Bean Salad - A classic side dish that's easy to make.
